Responsibilities
- Analyze company costs, expenses, and financial data
- Prepare cost reports, budgets, and financial forecasts
- Monitor production or operational costs to identify savings opportunities
- Compare actual costs vs. budgeted costs and explain variances
- Work with accounting, finance, and operations teams
- Assist in pricing decisions and profitability analysis
- Maintain accurate cost databases and financial records
- Recommend cost-control strategies to improve efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field
- Experience in cost accounting or financial analysis (1–3+ years preferred)
- Strong knowledge of budgeting and cost control principles
- Proficiency in Excel and accounting software (SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, etc.)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data handling
- Good communication skills for reporting findings
- Ability to work under deadlines and handle large datasets
